Resume Building Workshops
CES offers Resume Building Workshops open to the entire campus community. These workshops typically last one hour and provide a good overview of how to prepare an effective resume.
CES also offers an online version of the Resume Building Workshop in Microsoft PowerPoint.
CES advisors are also available to present workshops to classes and student organizations. To request a speaker for your group, please complete the Speaker Request Form.
Resume Critique Workshops
Resume critique workshops offer you the opportunity to gain feedback and suggestions for improvement on your resume from a CES Advisor. Drop in during resume critique hours for a quick review or update to your resume.
Please bring a print copy of a complete and up-to-date resume.
If you have never written a resume before or are overhauling your resume, you may find an individual appointment with an advisor to be more helpful. You may contact CES to schedule an appointment with an advisor.

Use Optimal Resume to create, present and manage your resume. The web-based, interactive system provides a step-by-step approach with many options and examples. You can also create your own personal resume website.
