Post-Graduate Caller
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include calling recent K-State graduates to obtain their current job status and other career information. Successful candidates will possess excellent telephone, time management, and interpersonal skills. They will also be strong communicators with great customer service experience and attention to detail.
The job will start with a paid training session on October 1, 2009. Calling will begin on October 6 and end on October 29. Each caller will need to commit to 16 hours of calling time per week. Shifts will begin at 5 pm and end at 9 pm Monday through Thursday.
- Work Hours: 5pm – 9pm, Monday through Thursday (10/6/09 – 10/29/09)
- Work Location:On-Campus (Holtz Hall)
- Work Study Not Required
Qualifications

- Strong communicator with great customer service experience and attention to detail

Employer Relations Intern (PDF)
Responsibilities
- Engage in outreach to local employers to secure part time and internship opportunities for K-State students
- Assist in the strategic planning for and marketing to support employer development efforts
- Provide administrative support to the employer relations team
- Manage the Kansas Career Work Study program
- Maintain marketing files and organizational system
- Participate in the Employer Development Committee meetings when possible
- Other projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft office including Word (including mail merge), Excel and Powerpoint
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and team-oriented attitude
