Kiowa County Media Center
Description:
The construction of the Kiowa County Media Center will answer the demand for up-to-the-minute
news and information about the happenings in Kiowa County, Kansas. The Media Center
will offer training for students, citizens, and seniors in all aspects of video, radio,
Internet, and graphics production. It is the hope of all involved in the Kiowa County
Media Center project that it will serve as a model for small communities across the
nation. It is likely that a continued involvement will occur with the Media Center
of faculty and students from the A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communications,
the Huck Boyd National Center for Community Media, and the K-State Media Center (formally
ECC)
