Graduate Research Assistant

One position available
HOURS: 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE)

Position Description: The Center for Engagement and Community Development (CECD) is looking for a qualified graduate student to work with an on-going research project in rural Kansas communities associated with CECD. Some limited travel will be required.

Salary for the position is $10,000.00 for the period beginning August 10, 2008, and ending May 16, 2009.

Qualifications:

  • Kansas State University graduate student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work individually and in a collaborative environment

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting CECD with a marketing research project
  • Assisting CECD with data collection and analysis
  • Web and database maintenance
  • Assisting CECD staff as requested
