Alok BhandariFounding Coordinator: Dr. Alok Bhandari

Appointed as the coordinator of the New Faculty Institute in 2006, Dr. Bhandari collaborated on the organization and programming of the first two years. He joined the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at Iowa State University in January 2008, and returned to Kansas State University as the head of the Department of Civil Engineering in 2011.

Our condolences go out to Dr. Alok Bhandari's family. Dr. Bhandari, founder of NFI, passed away Jan. 30, 2013 from cancer. Bhandari, age 44, served as the head of the department of civil engineering and was the Dr. Robert Snell Alumni Professor.
