Teaching at Kansas State University
A Handbook for Graduate Students

Fall 2007

CATL Home >  Teaching and Learning >  GTA Handbook
I. Introduction

This handbook is a product of the efforts of many people.   Thanks are certainly due to these people, but we have listed only the names of those who contributed directly to the writing of the handbook. An advisory committee, which included faculty members and graduate students who teach, represented each academic college at Kansas State University and were important contributors at the beginning of the project.

The handbook began primarily as a product of work in the preparations to teach the class, EDCI 943, Principles of College Teaching. Many who have taken the class have asked to copy the handouts for friends and colleagues. To satisfy those requests and to provide information for all graduate students who teach, we are pleased to provide you this handbook.  If you have questions or suggestions, contact Dr. Clegg at the Center for the Advancement of Teaching & Learning (215 Fairchild Hall, 532-7828).
