Faculty Exchange for Teaching Excellence
We are happy to announce that FETE Advisory Board members Kim Williams and Cathie Lavis (both from Horticulture) are our new co-coordinators of the Faculty Exchange for Teaching Excellence. (Thank you for your service!)
The Faculty Exchange for Teaching Excellence (FETE) was founded in 1997 by Dr. Ann Stalheim Smith, University Distinguished Teaching Scholar. FETE activities are supported by the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning.
FETE Mission Statement
The mission of the Faculty Exchange for Teaching Excellence is to promote the development of cross-disciplinary networks of faculty interested in enhancement of teaching and learning at Kansas State. FETE provides opportunities for faculty to share ideas about teaching and learning in an environment that is collegial, informal, and diverse with respect to disciplinary expertise. FETE accomplishes this goal through sponsorship of Swap Sessions and Workshops open to all KSU faculty, and led by both KSU faculty and faculty from other institutions, with expertise in areas of teaching and learning, who can share that expertise with their colleagues.
