Dr. Laura Armbrust's laboratory "Our clinical research studies focus on diagnostic imaging to detect, diagnose, and help determine prognosis and treatment options for animals with naturally occurring cancer. Diagnostic imaging, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance (MR) imaging, nuclear scintigraphy, and radiography are the most commonly utilized modalities for this purpose in people and animals. Specific interests are thoracic CT for detection of pulmonary nodules and MR imaging in cancers that affect bone marrow. Additionally, collaborative studies utilizing CT imaging for diagnosing disease in mice and rat models are underway." Laura Armbrust's Homepage |
