"Guided Tours" , where entomologists and trained docents give more detailed information and answer any questions, must be scheduled at least one week in advance. A minimum of 5 guests or a $15 charge are required for a guided tour. Groups of 5-10 can occasionally be scheduled Monday-Friday from 12:00-6:00. Please call to check for availability of a guide. Groups of 10 or more are only scheduled when we are not open to the public: Mondays from 9:00-5:00 and Tuesday-Friday 9:00-12:00. Please call 785-532-2847 to schedule a group. During tours, visitors are given the chance to touch and hold live critters in our “petting zoo.” Alternatively, walk-in visitors can explore the zoo on their own.

Due to limited space, all groups of 15 or more must call in advance to schedule their visit. Groups that do not prearrange a visit may not be guaranteed admission. Tours and group visits may be arranged by calling (785) 532-BUGS (532-2847). |

If your group is exempt from sales tax, you must
present a copy of your exemption certificate at the time of the
sale. Payment must be made with a company (school) check to qualify.
