"Guided Tours" , where entomologists and trained docents give more detailed information and answer any questions, must be scheduled at least one week in advance. Tours are given Monday- Friday, during normal operating hours, and the charge is $3.00 per person. During tours, visitors are given the chance to touch and hold live critters in our “petting zoo.” Alternatively, walk-in visitors can explore the zoo on their own.

Due to limited space, all groups of 10 or more must call in advance to schedule their visit. Groups that do not prearrange a visit may not be guaranteed admission. Tours and group visits may be arranged by calling (785) 532-BUGS (532-2847). |

If your group is exempt from sales tax, you must
present a copy of your exemption certificate at the time of the
sale. Payment must be made with a company (school) check to qualify.
