Directions

The Insect Zoo is located in the K-State Gardens, located on Denison Avenue.

Take exit 313 off I-70 West and head north on Hwy 177 towards Manhattan. Cross the bridge over the Kansas River. Turn left onto Ft. Riley Blvd at the traffic light – which turns into Tuttle Creek Blvd. At 3rd stop light, Turn Left onto Bluemont Ave. (This street changes names to Anderson Ave.). Turn Right onto Denison Ave (K-State Alumni Center is on the corner). Proceed through 2 traffic lights, then past Throckmorton Plant Sciences Center. Go another ¼ mile, past the K –State Gardens. Free parking is available in the lot just north of the Gardens. The Insect Zoo is in the limestone Building - look for the large Leaf-Cutter Ants above the Entrance to the Insect Zoo.
