TOPICS IN EVOLUTIONARY ECOLOGY |
|
|
|
Topics in Evolutionary Ecology is a graduate
level class and journal club in the Division of Biology at Kansas
State University. Topics change each semester to keep
discussions lively, and to make the course available to most graduate
students in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology section. In Fall 2004, the topic will be
Conservation Biology, and we will consider papers that examine
examine applied and theoretical aspects of the conservation of biological
diversity on the planet. The format of this graduate class is flexible and can be
used as a forum to discuss recent papers in the literature, to make informal
presentations on research proposals, or to receive feedback on manuscripts that are being prepared for publication. |
