DSP Research Symposium

DSP Symposium 2017

Every year, all students in the Developing Scholars Program participate in the annual Developing Scholars Program Research Poster Symposium where they present their research projects to the campus community. We welcome and encourage families to join us for this event! Next year's Symposium will be on Sunday, April 15, 2018, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Enjoy some photos below of Bridges students at the 2017 Symposium!

Third-year Bridges Scholar Jose Covarrubias is pictured along with fellow DSP Scholars who received the James R. Coffmann Excellence in Research Award during the 17th Annual Developing Scholars Poster Symposium. Jose's mentor is Dr. Stefan Bossmann. Jose will begin work on his P.h.D. in Chemistry at K-State this fall 2017. We are proud of Jose's accomplishments and the mark he has left on DSP! Congrats!

DSP Scholars who earned 4.0 GPA's from either Spring/Fall 2016 semesters were awarded at DSP Symposium. Bridges to the Future Scholars Jessica Martinez, Faith Rahman, Carolina Fonte, and Alex Garcia were among those students awarded for their academic excellence! Congratulations!
