Collection of valid tickets for each person entering an event. Will also be responsible for the accounting and reconciliation of ticket stubs and turnstile readings.
Starting pay = $6.00/hr.
Ushers
Serve as a host to all events. Will be assigned to a specific seating section at each event. The usher will verify that the patron's tickets is for their section, they will assist the patron in finding their seat and respond to any questions they might have regarding the stadium or coliseum and its operation.
Starting pay = $6.00/hr.
Security
The position of security will fill the role of peer security at events and will fill a variety of rolls in the event operations. Employees in this discipline will basically perform non-law enforcement crowd control and credential verification within the facilities.
Starting pay = $6.00/hr.
Cleanup
This position is responsible for all aspects of cleaning. The job will range from cleaning suites at the pressbox to cleaning restrooms. This is not a glorious position but it is a very necessary one. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide a spotlessly clean facility for our patrons.
Starting pay = 6.50/hr.
Concessions
Concession workers will be responsible for preparing and serving items from the Coliseum concession menu. The concession worker will also be responsible for collection money paid for menu items and accounting for this money through reconciliation of money collected to remaining inventory. These positions work special events held in Bramlage along with all basketball games.
Starting pay = $6.00/hr.
Parking Cashiers
The cashier is responsible for the collection and reconciliation of funds taken at the gates into the parking lots.
Starting pay = $6.50/hr.
Parking Directors
This position is responsible for directing traffic at certain key intersections within the parking lots. Starting pay = $5.65/hr.
Parking Attendants The general responsibility for the attendants is directing cars to parking stalls within designated areas.
Starting pay = $6.50/hr.
Stagehands
This position will be responsible for a number of specialized projection jobs in the Coliseum operation. Stagehands will be responsible for working with the Coliseum lighting and sound systems. They will also off load and reload equipment from production trucks, transport equipment to and from the performance area and set-up of tables, chairs, risers, set-up and tear down of staging and facility cleanup. The position will also be used to remove and reinstall the basketball floor. Note: positions in this area will only be used as needed. Therefore, if you have a need for more hours, this position can be held in conjunction with other positions. Please note on your application that you would also be interested in working Stagehand.
