Beach Museum : Friends of the Beach
Friends of Art, founded by the late Professor John F.
Helm, Jr. in 1934, has promoted interest in and appreciation of the fine
arts in Kansas for more than 60 years through special exhibitions, lectures,
and gift prints created by popular
regional artists. Today, the Friends of the
Beach Museum of Art is a vital statewide cultural resource. Its revenues
contribute to the acquisition of artwork for the Marianna Kistler Beach
Museum of Art and defray conservation expenses.
Membership levels range from a student membership at $20,
to patronage at the Director's Level at $2,500. To join the Friends of
