Parent/Child Workshops
ARTSmart parent/child programs are designed to encourage creativity, teach children about art vocabulary, tools, and methods, and to integrate art with other subject matter. The one hour program includes story time, a visit to the galleries, activities, and an art project. (connect to schedule)

Tours and Outreach Programs
In-museum and outreach programs are available at no cost to licensed early childhood centers. Reservations may be made by calling (785) 532-7718 or emailing klwalk@ksu.edu.

Curricula Development
Early Childhood curriculum development is based on research and collaboration with early childhood programs such as Kindercare, Headstart, and Parents as Teachers. Recent curricula projects have been funded by the Kansas Arts Commission and are designed to focus on cognitive and physical skill development, art knowledge, integration of emergent learning skills and other art forms, and provide opportunities for creativity.
