Lecture by Joe Johnson

Join us as Joe Johnson, 2008 Friends of the Beach Museum of Art Gift Print Artist, talks about his photography.

Early Release Day Workshop-Illustrated Journals
16 May, 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Participants will visit the More Than Worlds exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution and make thier own journals to write in and illustrate. Cost is $5 per child and reservations are required. Ages 6 and up.

Young Children and the Art Museum
7 June, 10 a.m.
Join Susan Baley, Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, University of Oklahoma, to learn how to explore art museums with your children. Ideal for parents, homeschool providers, teachers, and picture volunteers. A workshop/childcare will be available for children while the adults concentrate on learning new techniques and ideas. There is no fee but reservations are requested. Funded by the Kansas Arts Commission.
