KSU Division of Biology seeks a Research Assistant in an Immunology laboratory.  The successful  candidate will be expected to conduct in vivo and in vitro research projects related to the innate immune response using histological, molecular and biochemical approaches. S/he will also be responsible for overseeing general lab organization, ordering laboratory supplies, and maintaining equipment. Additionally, they will assist in training undergraduates in experimental procedures. Some evenings, weekend and holiday work may be required.

The successful candidate will be a team player with a BS in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry or related field. It is expected that the applicant will have good communication and computational skills, rodent handling skills, good laboratory safety skills, and excellent attention to detail. The candidate will be motivated with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
