Ackert Hall was erected in 1970 on the old R.O.T.C. drill field. This
large structure contains the administrative offices, laboratories,
classrooms, and lecture rooms of the Division of Biology. It also houses
the Center for Basic Cancer Research, Bioserve Space Technologies, and an
electron microscope laboratory. Chalmers Hall was completed in November
2002 as an addition to Ackert Hall.
