A fraternity is, by its very nature, a social institution. In this aspect of fraternal life, as in all things, Beta excels. Our chapter has 8 parties each year. These consist of several theme parties, several semi-formals and one formal. In addition to these parties, we have numerous functions and exchange dinners with various sororities throughout the year. Some parties of note are:

Miami Triad: Beta sponsors this semi-formal along with Sigma Chi and Phi Delta Theta in celebration of our three chapters' foundings at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. It is held every year in the historic Wareham Theater.

Beta Pig: Our formal occurs in mid-April and is a two to three day event. The location for Pig changes every year and has been held in such places as Kansas City, St. Louis, the Lake of the Ozarks, Denver, and Chicago.
