"The first mark of a Beta will be his Beta Spirit."

Homecoming at Kansas State marks the peak of our Purple Pride. Taking place in the fall, it is an event that rallies not just the university, but also the entire Manhattan community as we cheer the Cats to victory.

For the Greek System, Homecoming is actually a weeklong event, filled with nightly festivities and spirited competition, culminating in the Homecoming Parade on game day. Each sorority is paired with two fraternities to compete in the Homecoming Competition as a team. The teams are judged and receive points for placement in numerous events. The entries in these events are directed towards an overall theme that is predetermined each year. The events are:

Wildcat Request Live: Each team competes with a lip-sync in this spirited version of TRL.

Pant-the-Chant: Teams write and choreograph chants for this competition.

Homecoming Float

Paint-the-Ville: Teams compete by painting windows of participating Aggieville businesses.

Cats-for-Cans: Team members collect cans for charity in this event, judged on member participation.

Spirit Banner: Each team creates an enormous spirit banner to display on campus.

This year's theme was "Flashback to a Medeviel Time." CLICK ON THE PICTURE TO SEE MORE

Parade Spirit: The spirit of each team is judged as they march in the Homecoming Parade.

Float: Each team builds a float and displays it during the Homecoming Parade.
