THE PROBLEM...

The Kansas State University’s Pride of Wildcat Land is in the process of securing funds to purchase new uniforms for the 2009 season. The average life of a band uniform is six to eight years. Most of the inventory for the K-State Band is nearly a quarter of a century old. Costs to replace several uniforms each year are not economically practical as the replacement costs are far greater than if purchased in bulk. ***UPDATE*** we are now securing funds to purchase 50 more uniforms as our current enrollment has surpassed expectations and the need to secure additional uniforms for the following year is a reality.
HOW CAN YOU HELP...
Our Goal: $250,000
How much does a uniform cost? For a full uniform, the cost is $400.00
What will this money do? $250,000 will be enough money to purchase band uniforms. Having an inventory of 400-500 uniforms will outfit a 350-member band considering the size mixing that will naturally occur as the uniforms are used in future years.
How Can I Help? 100% of a donation of any dollar amount will go towards the purchase of a new band uniform.
