Wood Thrush, a declining species more often associated with eastern deciduous forests, is abundant at one of our sites. To date we have banded 3 pairs of Wood Thrushes, and the haunting "eee-o-lay" song of this species makes banding at this site a very pleasant experience. This is a photo of a female Wood Thrush banded July 3, 2000.

And another from the same site
