Bell's Vireo, the squeaky songster of second-growth scrubby habitats, is common at another of our sites. However, as most Kansas birders know, it is sometimes difficult to get a good look at one of these furtive imps. Here are a couple of photos of a female Bell's Vireo banded July 2, 2000.
