Welcome Letter for new students:

Dear new African students,

On behalf of the African Students Union (ASU) executives and members, I would like to congratulate you on your admission to Kansas State University. Welcome to our campus community and to the city of Manhattan.

ASU is here to help make sure you have a joyful and successesful time in KSU from the beginning to end of your stay. Some of the helps that you can get from ASU include:

  • information regarding accommodation on your arrival,
  • transport facilities for shopping,
  • searching roommates (if you need one),
  • if there is somebody from your country to talk to and,
  • about how to become member.

Please email africa@ksu.edu so that somebody from the executive does respond for all your questions regarding KSU and Manhattan.

Please note that ASU have different activities on campus and around Manhattan all over the year. See the events of this year in the website and mark your calendar for attendance and participation.

We are honored to have you as part of our community!

WELCOME and have a great stay at K-state.

Moses Kosin,

President 2013-2014
