AIMS/OBJECTIVES

• To strengthen the bond of togetherness and co-operation within the union

• Make our presence be felt in a more positive way both on campus and in the Manhattan community by representing Africa in every way possible

• Provide a stronger sense of leadership and responsibility and encourage same in the general assembly

How?

1. Through the various programs we intend to organize in the course of the year
-social events
-cultural events
-sporting events
-Educational activities
-Voluntary activities

2. Meetings and discussions within the union
Executive committee: Bi-weekly
General Assembly: Monthly

3. Encourage and where possible assist members to participate actively in various activities on campus on the individual level and as a union .e.g ISC, SGA, ICC etc
