Memo on Assessment Plans for ALL UNDERGRADUATE Secondary Majors, Minors, Interdisciplinary, and Certificate Programs (list of tables)
- For those programs that have not submitted and received approval of their Assessment Plan to date, please submit assessment plans for those programs (including secondary majors, minors, interdisciplinary, and certificate programs) by October 1, 2009.
- All UNDERGRADUATE Certificate programs should be submitting Annual Progress Reports according to the annual reporting cycle (e.g., March 2, 2009 for AY 2007-2008 Assessment reports).
- All SECONDARY MAJORS, MINORS, AND INTERDISCIPLINARY PROGRAMS should submit Annual Progress Reports beginning in the reporting cycle for AY 2008-2009 (reports due March 2010).
- In many cases, these programs can use all or part of the existing student learning outcomes and assessment plan of a corresponding bachelor’s academic degree program.
- Departments that have more than one program in an academic area (e.g., a bachelor’s degree program, a certificate, and a minor in the same area) can include all of their programs in a single Annual Progress Report.

Memo on Assessment of Student Learning (ASL) for Graduate Programs to continue the process of transparency and alignment:
- Graduate Student Learning Outcomes for each Graduate degree program posted on program/department web site
- An "Alignment Matrix" for each Graduate degree program
- A summary of progress made since 2004 on assessment of student learning for each Graduate degree program and graduate certificate

Memo on 2009 Annual Progress Reports on Assessment of Student Learning Deadlines and Requirements
- APRs for undergraduate degree programs are due at the college level March 2, 2009
- Copies of approved reports and college summaries due to the Provost June 1, 2009
- University summary from Office of Assessment due to the Provost September 1, 2009
In an attempt to continue the process of transparency and alignment, we ask that each department post on its web site the following two items by the time the March 2009 APRs are due:
- The "Alignment Matrix" that was constructed for each degree program and submitted with the APRs that were due in March, 2008 (this includes secondary majors, minors, interdisciplinary, and certificate programs).
- A SUMMARY of the 2007-2008 APRs for each degree program. The summary should include a brief paragraph describing the program's progress made in assessment of student learning during the 2007-2008 Academic Year.
