Graduates are prepared to lead and creatively engage in the
development and completion of projects that focus on a variety of
issues ranging from spatial organization, behavior analysis, interior
space planning, interior detailing, color and finish, construction
documentation, and presentation skills.
Graduates are prepared through research, design, prototype
construction, and evaluation for the development of a wide range of
furniture including seating and various types of casegoods.
Graduates will be prepared to analyze, synthesize and design various types of products associated with the human environment, integrating such human factor determinates as anthropometrics and ergonomics.
Graduates will become sensitive to end users, available materials, quantity requirements and production options.
