Angelia Perry
Background
I was born and raised in Frankfort, Kansas, a small town Northeast of Manhattan, Kansas, and I have been "bleeding purple" since I was a small girl. I have lived in Manhattan for 15 years.
Education
I received a BA in English from Kansas State University in 1997. I earned my Masters of Arts in Creative Writing and Literature in 1999 from Kansas State University.
Favorite Pastime
I enjoy reading, playing the piano, being involved in my family's activities, and attending KSU sporting and cultural events.
On Academic Advising
Quality academic advising should strive to high- light the unique abilities of each individual student by taking into account all aspects of a student's background and circumstances. Success- ful advising is a joint endeavor between advisor and student to devise a plan that incorporates the student's dreams.
Interesting Fact
In Fall 2001, I will have three children attending KSU full-time and another child at Ft. Hays State.
Last Word
I love to visit with students about their interests and career ideas. Helping a student find a rewarding major/career is a very pleasurable part of my job, so don't hesitate to make an appointment with me.
