Courses for the Primary Texts Certificate Offered Summer 2007

Unless otherwise noted, students do not need permission from the director of the Primary Texts program to enroll in these courses. However, students who want to take these courses for credit in the Primary Texts program should notify Prof. Laurie Bagby, Director, at 532-0441 or lauriej@ksu.edu, to receive credit in the program. Students new to the program will need to make an appointment with Dr. Bagby to discuss requirements, including how they will fulfill the essay requirement.

The list of classes below includes all of the courses offered in the Summer 2007 semester for which students may receive credit in the Primary Texts Certificate. The asterisks in front of some courses indicate that they qualify for University General Education credit. The notes in parentheses after courses indicate what if any distribution requirement they fulfill in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Honors Program: Students in the Arts and Sciences Honors Program may seek credit for honors courses not listed below in consultation with Dr. Stephen Kiefer, Director of the Honors Program, or Dr. Laurie Bagby, Director of the Primary Texts Program.
