Health Professions Advising is available for the following careers. These links go to the most current K-State undergraduate catalog, which is updated every two years.
Requirements for admission into health professional programs are subject to change and can vary widely, so consultation with a health professions advisor is strongly recommended.
- Pre-Chiropractic Medicine
- Clinical Laboratory Science (B.A.) or Clinical Laboratory Science (B.S.) (Medical Technology)
- Pre-Dentistry
- Pre-Health Information Management
- Pre-Medicine
- Pre-Nursing
- Pre-Occupational Therapy
- Pre-Optometry
- Pre-Pharmacy
- Pre-Physical Therapy
- Physician Assistant
- Pre-Respiratory Care
- Veterinary Medicine
Completing pre-health prerequisites prepares students to make application to health professional schools. It does not result in the completion of a degree, with the exception of Clinical Lab Science.
Students interested in Athletic Training, Dietetics, or Communication Sciences & Disorders may prepare for these careers through the College of Human Ecology.
