About Kansas State Modern Combatives
KSU Combatives Program is a curriculum based on the Modern Army Combatives Program. The program draws its technical base from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In addition western boxing, wrestling, Judo and Muay Thai kick boxing are used.
The purpose is to produce individuals whom have the skill set and courage to defend themselves. It is also the program's intention to provide a cultural, geographic, historical, anthropological, psychological perspective of martial arts training. Thus yielding an interdisciplinary field known as hoplology.
