Undergraduate: Digital Arts

Digital Arts [Interactive Media]

Digital Arts [Interactive Media]: Designing digital communications for CD-ROM,
the internet and intranet, interface design and development, etc.

The emphasis is placed on design research, design theory, product-service
usability and technical skills. The student is taught how the designer functions
within various creative environments. The IM designer interacts and makes
creative decisions with personnel in various disciplines relating to the creation
of web and interactive media.

Each student must realize the importance and necessity of the design process
and a firm understanding of the many aspects of web and interactive media.
The clear understanding of how to successfully create simple interactive
projects to complex web sites will help them become positive contributors
to the field of interactive media.
