MFA students may work in any of the traditional areas of prints: Intaglio, Lithography, Serigraphy, and Relief as well as the incorporation of several techniques used together. Traditional and experimental methods are encouraged and supported in course work.

Most graduate students will have the opportunity to receive a GTA at some point in their three year degree. This teaching experience offers a valuable experience for future employment. Students usually spend a time observing and participating in the course they will be teaching as a GTA prior to receiving a teaching assignment. Full GTA's consist of teaching 2 courses per semester, including a tuition waiver and a salary of $3,750 per semester.

Alums of the print program are Scott Schnepf, Fred Lawyer, Laurie Klopp, Fayez Husseini, and Tom Edwards.
