The painting area occupies almost 3000 sq. feet of space in Willard Hall and an old stadium once used as a dorm. Each graduate student is assigned over 200 sq. feet of private studio space (as available).

Plans are underway to move all painting facilities into Willard Hall where the majority of art department areas are housed. The move will give painting students access to a wood working shop, photo lab, and audio visual equipment.
