The MFA in Metals/Jewelry consist of 60 semester credit hours, with a requirement of at least three semesters in the program with one academic year in residency as a full time student. The course includes:

Metals/Jewelry courses : 35-40 credits
Support studio courses : 3-10 credits
Art History : 9 credits
Electives : 11 credits

We are very fortunate to have an excellent guest Artist program, which enables us to host outstanding national and international artist in our studios. Some recent artists include Helen Shirk, Nilda Getty, Majorie Schick, Albert Paley, Chuck Evans, Jan Yager, Rick Smith, and Richard Mawdsley.
