The MFA in Drawing consist of 60 semester credit hours, with a requirement of at least three semesters in the program with one academic year in residency as full time student. The course work includes:

Drawing courses : 35-40 credits
Support Studio courses : 3-10 credits
Art History : 9 credits
Electives : 11 credits

Our Visiting Artist program promotes contemporary exposure to current issues and imagery with visits by national and internationally known artists in the field of drawing. Recent guest artists include: Ellen Lanyan, Nathan Goldstein, Robert Marks, Judith McCrea, and Tom Edwards.

Graduate seminar assists students with the success of the graduate experience and helps prepare the student for careers in the field.
