Due to the intensity of our programs, please specify on #3 of the Graduate School application form; MFA Art: and the concentration you intend to pursue.

1.
Complete application file must be received in the Department
of Art on or before the following deadlines:
Domestic
Applicants :
Fall admission: February 15, preceding
fall semester to attend. Spring admission: October 15,
preceding spring semester to attend
International
Applicants :
Fall admission: February 1, preceding fall
semester to attend. Spring admission: August 1, preceding
spring semester to attend. Summer admission: December
1, preceding Summer semester to attend.
2. A completed application form, with an indication of a major area of concentration. There will be a $30 fee for domestic applicants and a $55 fee for international applicants.
3.
Two official copies of transcripts from all colleges
or universities attended.
4.
Three letters of Recommendation and Recommendation Form.

A statement of purpose.
6. A portfolio of 15 slides or a CD of recent work, along with a list of those works by title, date, medium, and size.
7.
An international applicant whose native language is
not English must submit his/her TOEFL score.
8.
The Graduate School requires that a signed statement
of financial responsibility accompany the application
of an international student.
9.
If the applicant wishes to apply for a graduate teaching
assistantship, a statement to that effect, along with
an explanation of any teaching experience the applicant
might have had, should be included.
