The Spring Scholarship Review for incoming freshman and transfer students will be taking place during
Spring Open House. Numerous scholarships are available and will be awarded through a portfolio review. Incoming students who are interested must:
1. Exhibit artistic and academic ability to complete the art program at K-State.
2. Be able to enroll at K-State as a full time ART Student in the Fall 2008.

Spring Undergraduate Scholarship Portfolio Review
Awards are available to undergraduate art majors submitting portfolios of work for review. Works should be selected from art course assignments. The portfolio review generally is scheduled during February. Awards are chosen by cote of committee of art faculty. Awards include:
- General art wards for freshmen, sophomore, junior, and senior art students (any concentration) showing overall outstanding work
- Awards for several students with graphic design concentration
- Award for student showing outstanding work in printmaking
- Award for student showing outstanding work in painting (especially watercolor)
- Award for student showing outstanding work in ceramics (functional pottery)
- Award for student showing outstanding work in photography
- Award for student in art education (every other year)
- Award for student showing outstanding work in ceramics (any type of clay work)
- Materials awards: Various awards of art supplies made available through Varney's Bookstore. These awards generally range from $50-$250, are provided by art supply manufacturers and are arranged by Penny Cullers (Varney's Art Supply Manager)
