Students pursuing a degree in the Department of Art are not required to submit a portfolio of artwork for admission to our department. Students must meet K-State's qualified admissions standards ( www.k-state.edu/admit/qualified.html) and then may begin taking courses through the department. for those choosing to pursue the professional art degree, the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, an entrance review called Concentration Admission Review (CAR) will take place during the student's 4th semester in the program.
