A career in teaching at K-State is always an option for you. As you may know, we tend to hire more based on professional experience than academic credentials. Although the Ph.D. or MS is preferred for a new faculty, the BS, with substantial (7-10 years) industry experience, is highly valued and considered. As faculty positions become available in the department, we are very interested in knowing of any past graduates in our K-State network that may be interested in returning to K-State to assume a rewarding teaching career in the department. Although our immediate needs have been filled, we may be recruiting for a couple of new faculty to start the Spring or Fall semester 2008. We are always looking for highly qualified engineers and constructors to join our great team of faculty. So, if you would like to be contacted about future opportunities (1 – 5 years out), we want to know about it. Your interest will remain confidential and only made available to members of our search committees during the recruiting process.
