CONSTRUCTION SCIENCE AND MANAGEMENT: EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

 

Program Educational Objective

The Department faculty and industry leaders established the following educational objectives for the KSU Construction Science and Management Undergraduate Program:

“Within the first few years following graduation from the four year Construction Science & Management program at Kansas State University, graduates are expected to be working as a professional in an area closely related to construction, contributing to the success of their employer, pursuing professional development and/or certification, and advancing professionally with confidence and experience in the construction industry.”

 

Program Outcomes

  • Graduates will have a strong Technical Knowledge.
  • Graduates will have a thorough understanding of the Construction Process.
  • Graduates will have strong Communication skills.
  • Graduates will possess strong Leadership, Management and Teamwork skills.
  • Graduates will understand and apply modern Technology.
  • Graduates will pursue Professional Development through Life Long Learning.
  • Graduates will uphold high Ethical and Professional Standards.
