Program Educational Objective

The Department faculty and industry leaders established the following educational objectives for the KSU Construction Science and Management Undergraduate Program:

“Within the first few years following graduation from the four year Construction Science & Management program at Kansas State University, graduates are expected to be working as a professional in an area closely related to construction, contributing to the success of their employer, pursuing professional development and/or certification, and advancing professionally with confidence and experience in the construction industry.”

 

Program Outcomes

  1. Graduates will have a strong Technical Knowledge.
  2. Graduates will have a thorough understanding of the Construction Process.
  3. Graduates will have strong Communication skills.
  4. Graduates will possess strong Leadership, Management and Teamwork skills.
  5. Graduates will understand and apply modern Technology.
  6. Graduates will pursue Professional Development through Life Long Learning.
  7. Graduates will uphold high Ethical and Professional Standards.
