Bros. Paris Rossiter and Orion Carrington both had major leadership roles within the Black Student Union during the 2002-03 academic year. Bro. Paris was President and Bro. Orion was the Head Big XII Delegate
Bro. Paris Rossiter was nominated for the Commerce Bank Award for Distinguished Service to Minority Students!! Although he didn't win the award, he was in very good company with Miss Erica Smith (l-award winner) and Miss Essence Halliburton (r)
Bro. Rossiter was congratulated by faculty Bros. David Griffen (l), and Reginland McGowan (r-Kappa Tau Advisor)
CONGRATULATIONS to Queen Megan Smith (center), our newly crowned Miss Black and Gold 2002!! Also, we would like to congratulate Queen Akeia Haddox (l) Miss Gold 2002 (1st Runner Up) and Queen Marquette Shannon (r) Miss Black 2002 (2nd Runner Up).
Another heartfelt "THANK YOU" goes out to Bro. Brandon Clark, coordinator of this year's pageant!! He did an EXCELLENT JOB and made sure that Miss Black and Gold 2002 was TRULY a pageant to be remembered!!
