Our 6th Annual Miss Black and Gold Pageant was held on December 4, 2004, which was also our beloved fraternity's FOUNDER'S DAY. We are sure that our founding fathers, the Jewels of our fraternity, would have loved to see the largest turnout we have ever experienced! The K-State Student Union Forum Hall hosted over 500 family members, friends, students, faculty, staff, and community supporters as 13 young women competed for the title of Miss Black and Gold 2004. We, the Kappa Tau Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc would like to take this moment to thank each of the young ladies who participated in this year's pageant. It was truly a pleasure working with each of you. You are ALL QUEENS!!!! It is is our sincere desire that you continue to let the beautiful light that is inside of each of you SHINE for all of the world to see!!!
