This is basitly where i slap all those funny japanese related topics that are quirky or otherwise amussing: Anime, Manga, Video Games, Movies, Idols, anything related to japanese popculture. Because I love it so much. Hey guys Iv recently gotten a Wii. And iv been looking into odd japanese wii games.. there are a lot. Like Bikini Zombie Slayers...Which is actually being imported!! Ok its just a video game but i love it! This is some fighting game iv never seen before, I don't see many (besides DS), that has this little girl character that beats people up with a broom and did I mentions rainbows. ITs a fun clip, take a look.

Cosplay is so cool it has Idols who do nothing but cosplay. Morishita Yuuri, a cosplay idol, ahs released a photo book of her cosplay anime characters, including Rei Ayonami from Neon Genasis Evangelion. The photo book is 3900yen.

If your a true fan of Rei Ayonami's character, then, you wont like her photo's. Her exprestion is more like somehting from Asuka. But nitpicking is no fun.

If you like seeing high level cosplay then this book is worth it. I like it. Here is a link to Yuuri, dressed as Rei, promoting her photo book. Click around the Japanese youtube-esk site, it's got some fun stuff.

So, an Idol in japan froze burned and threw down stairs 3 Street Fighter II Super Famicom cartridges to see which ones still worked. They had to trim down the burned one to test it!

Detroit Metal City --> Ok, so, the actor Kenichi Matsuyama [Death Note live actions L]<>is playing the lead role in Detroit Metal City Live action movie!!

What's Detroit Metal City? Well..... its a manga just added to onemanga.com ->DMC (almost 60 chapters!!). I personally find the drawing style different, but not totally off putting. Its a hilarious and bizarre manga about a musician that loves swedish pop[can we say ABBA!] but starts a metal band for the money.

But ABBA and KISS personalities in one person he find it hard to coexist because... well.. his make-upped ego has a bad tendency to hump everything in sight and only sings about murder. When an old high school flame compliments him for his old song about: peace and stuff like bunnies poop marshmallows, he tries to stay his happy self to get with her. But the fans demand more DMC. And so does his scary Lady Manager!

One Manga --> Lets read manga as a club. Everyone Look into this site. It has a lot of handy tools on it. It has Category pages for: comedy, ecchi and action.
If you find one you like make sure it has monthly releases and is reliable. Look at the dates the chapters have been released, because there classifying it as irregular isn't to accurate sometimes. That info will be under the author and artist names.
Personally I recommend Franken Fran and Biomeat-Nector. Both have monthly releases and are Horror Manga. P.S. Biomeat is labeled as irregular, but 2-5 chapters are released every month!
