Advanced Manufacturing Institute Continues to Grow Design Verification Services With Hiring of New Mechanical Engineer

(Manhattan, Kan. January 12, 2007) – Jeremy Loewen has joined Kansas State University's Advanced Manufacturing Institute as a mechanical engineer. Loewen is part of the design verification team and will be responsible for planning, coordinating and performing design, testing and analysis work on client projects.

Loewen graduated from K-State in December 2006 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He also has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Tabor College in Hillsboro and is a graduate of Hillsboro High School.

"Jeremy participated in our student intern program and we were very impressed with his skills," said Brad Kramer, director of the Advanced Manufacturing Institute. "We are thrilled to have him join our team and believe he will fill a key role as we continue to expand our design verification services to better assist industry and university research projects."
