The KSU Student Chapter of Associated General Contractors is a student run, student supported organization that provides a link between the construction industry and education.  This organization supports community projects, brings in guest speakers to inform students on current issues, and plans social events for members of the organization.  KSU AGC also sends representatives to regional and national conferences in order to become more informed about AGC and the construction industry.

JOINING AGC

Membership forms are located in the Architectural Engineering and Construction Science Office, 240 Seaton Hall.
Membership fees for the 2007-2008 school year are as follows:

  • $5.00 for the academic year
  • You will also recieve a free t-shirt when you sign up.

    LISTSERV

    To allow the members of KSU AGC to be informed and/or updated on new work projects, a listserv has been established.  To join the listserv, send an e-mail to listserv@listserv.ksu.edu.  Leave the subject line blank, but in the body write:

       SUB AGC-L Your Name

    WORK PROJECTS

    If you are interested in participating on a work project, being a project head, or have an idea for a work project, e-mail Tommy Lewis, KSU AGC Vice President. If you would like to email a work project head, visit the work project head email page.

     

    HARD HAT NEWSLETTER

    At each seminar, an informational newsletter is distributed to all students in attendance.  The newsletter discusses the status of current work projects, scholarships, field trips, and merchandise available for sale.  You can now read The Hard Hat online. Construction companies interested in being added to the mailing list should e-mail Tim Rogers, KSU AGC Secretary, and in the subject line write: Hard Hat Newsletter.
