Flint Hills Breadbasket- Fall, 2004: This project was started in the spring of 2004 and was originally going to be a new storage facility for the Flint Hills Bread Basket. AGC members began by excavating and forming the walls for a grade beam that served as the foundation for the slab (Shown Above). Due to weather and some fund raising, members returned later in the fall of 2004 to set the forms and pour the finished slab. The project was a success and allowed those who were involved to get their hands in on concrete pouring procedures. |
