AGC Field Trip (November 18th 2004):

In the fall of 2004, students got the oppotunity to travel to Wichita and view some construction jobsites. The students were invited by Key Construction and Donlinger and Son's construction to meet the project superintendents, as well as general superintendents who guided tours of current projects. The superintendents talked about the major implications of time, management and safety that applied to a good jobsite. They also gave advice to the students about the difficulties that they have experienced personally on their own jobsites and way to correct and avoid those problems in the future. The projects were interesting to see and very informative.
