{The deadline to submit Poster Abstracts is Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
{Six abstracts will be selected for platform/oral presentations.
{You must be registered to attend the Symposium to submit an abstract.

Poster sessions are tentatively
planned for Friday, June 10, 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. and for 1.5 hours on Saturday, June 11. As details are
finalized, a complete schedule will be posted to the
Symposium website, www.k-state.edu/agc/symp2011.

Poster Set-up and Tear-down:

Set-up of posters is tentatively
planned for Thursday evening, June 9, and Friday morning, June 10.

Removal of posters will be at
5:00 pm on Saturday, June 11.

Absolutely no pins or tacks are
to be used to mount posters to the walls of the
exhibition room. Approved tape will be provided
for attaching posters to walls.
Poster Abstracts:

All abstracts must be submitted
electronically as WORD documents attached to an e-mail addressed to: Posters@k-state.edu.
- Within the e-mail, please include:
- Whether you
want your poster abstract to be considered for a
platform/oral presentation.
- If you DO wish for your abstract to be considered for a platform/oral presentation, choose one of the following session titles in which you wish to be considered:
- Emerging Genomes
- Comparing Genomes to Extract Function
- Regulating the Genome
- Symbionts

of your submission within 72 hours.

2) Your title/position (e.g., PhD Student, Post Doc, Faculty, Undergraduate Student, etc.)
3) University or organization
4) Daytime telephone number
5) Preferred e-mail address
6) Specify whether or not your abstract is to be considered for a platform/oral presentation. If you DO wish for your abstract to be considered for a platform/oral presentation, choose one of the following session titles which most closely matches the content of your abstract:

- Within 72 hours, you should receive
an e-mail confirming that your abstract was
received. If you do not receive an e-mail
